I'm sure we'll get something demeaning from Fisher, like, "We might as well start Vince Young ...we've got nothing to lose."

Can't imagine what little white lies (and maybe major ones) Fisher has told Vince to keep him quiet.

The real overhaul in that organization needs to happen in the coaching staff. They've got a pretty good bunch of players right now but sure aren't being put in a position to produce. Look at what's happened to the Titans vaunted Defense this year. I guess Fisher wasn't prepared for that collapse, which consequently left it up to the Offense to win games, exposing even further Fisher's glaring weakness.

3-2; this is Fisher's idea of a great game (his team has the 3 pts). This guy is a defensive coordinator. Period. Maybe Bud finally got his head out of his a** for the 1st time in about 35 years . I just don't get not playing VY, he's too good. He is not Tom Brady, so don't force him to be. But he is VY, and thats pretty dam good. You don't use a shovel to serve soup, but Fisher just doesn't get it ranting2.gif . Others would. slaphead.gif

It's pretty sad when an owner of an NFL team has to get involved and force the Head Coach to start VY which was obvious to most except Fisher! Way to go Vince in winning yesterday's game for the first win of the season for the Titans.

Yeah, Vince stayed pretty calm from all I've read. What a bunch of fans on one of the Titans forum are dissing Vince about is his overthrow on one of his incompletions and that ball thrown low on another. Wah, wah, wah. Going to be real tough on a lot of haters over there if Vince takes hold - lol!

They don't "get it" that other Defenses have to look at the Titans Offense differently if Vince is roaming unleashed. Apparently Fisher doesn't either, or doesn't care one way ot the other. As a matter of fact, the running game opened wide for the Titans. Just a coincidence, I suppose. Also, Vince scrambled 10 times for 30 yards ...probably more than poor Collins could in a whole year.

Didn't fix the mess the coaches made with the Titans Defense this year, but was able to make up for enough of it by just scoring more points than the other team ...
Almost feel sorry for the west-coast and SEC Titans fans ... clapping.gif and there are a lot of them.

At the very least, VY can show other teams what he can do if Tennessee decides not to keep him.
